Ultrasound at Crenicichla zebrina finds differences between sexes

During a checkup at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover our Crenichla zebrina are examined by sonography (ultrasound). Thereby ovaries of females can be detected. Accordingly, males and females can be identified what is otherwise hardly possible.
