MX Hero: Paralysed Doug Henry takes on the World Vet Motocross at historic Farleigh Castle and wins!

Being confined to a wheelchair after being paralysed from the waist down following a supermoto crash doesn’t keep American hero Doug Henry off two wheels. The four-time AMA motocross champ with 25 Supercross and Motocross national wins now rides an adapted bike against able-bodied riders - but he’d always wanted to race the World Vets MX at the historic, old-school Farleigh Castle track in England. After being offered the chance to race on an electric bike for the first time, Henry jumped at the chance and hit the track on the Stark Varg. Riding in the Over-50 B class against 450 four-strokes, the 55-year-old battled hard for the lead in every one of his four motos and took the overall win following a glorious victory in the last moto. Watch this all-time great in action as he takes an emotional and hugely popular win.
