Stamford Bridge, East Riding of Yorkshire【4K】| Village Centre Walk 2021

Join me for a walk around the heart of the delightful East Yorkshire village of Stamford Bridge, located a stone’s throw away from York, and the site of the ’other’ famous battle of 1066: the Battle of Stamford Bridge! On our walk around Stamford Bridge, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including the bridge at Stamford Bridge, the River Derwent, a model of King Harald Hardrada’s ship ’Ormen’, Stamford Bridge Methodist Chapel, Main Street, Stamford Bridge Corn Mill, Battle of Stamford Bridge Memorial, The Bay Horse Pub, St. John the Baptist Church, Stamford Bridge Railway Station (disused) and the battlefield of the Battle of Stamford Bridge. Thank you so much to the following sites which really helped me out in my research of Stamford Bridge:
