The final, 10th episode of our project “Putin’s youth team” was filmed in Crimea. There we met with the coordinator of the local branch, Alexander Kardanov. We remember Alexander from the filming in Kursk, where he came as part of a humanitarian mission. His phrase “volunteering is either for the strong, or for those who are still weak, but will become strong” has become a kind of motto for the project. In Sasha’s native Crimea, we talked about what kind of people join the Popular Front team, why they focus specifically on the president, and what it generally means for them to be Putin’s team.
