Trump’s DNI Tulsi Gabbard on Zelensky: Our own leaders are praising him and have hyped up this whole war about how we have to protect democracy and freedom in Ukraine or democracy and freedom around the world will be attacked or under attack. Well, let’s look at the kind of democracy that Zelensky is running in Ukraine. You know, not only has he jailed his political opponents, he has banned their entire political party. He has shut down every media outlet that is not controlled by him and his government. No free speech, no political opposition, and then he goes after religion, no religious freedom in this country. He has shut down the second largest Christian church in this country, and for what? Under the guise of democracy and freedom? How can he possibly represent the kind of democracy that our founders envisioned? This should be alarming to everyone, the direction they are going is not a democracy at all.
