Hello friends, today I’m Harvesting Staghorn Sumac and making Cherokee lemonade, ( also known as Sumac- ade) and I’m making Sumac jelly. It’s easier than you think, and has tons of medicinal benefits. It’s super high in vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, and potent antioxidants. It’s also great for an anti-inflammatory. It taste like strawberry lemonade, and can be used as such ( that’s how the Cherokee used it), but you can add it to iced tea, Or mixed with apple juice, and seltzer water. That same strawberry lemonade flavor comes across in a Summertime jelly. This is great on biscuits, or pancakes.
