A tank battle between an AFU T-64BV & 🇷🇺 T-72B3
A tank battle between an AFU T-64BV and (presumably) a Russian Armed Forces T-72B3 in the initial phase of the SMO near Izyum
The crew of this vehicle made a desperate attempt to support the infantry squad in the hangars nearby, working on the Russian infantry and armoured vehicles. After firing several rounds, the T-64BV began to turn around and retreat, at which point APFSDS from another tank hit the tank on the left side of the turret (when viewed from behind). Smoke came out of the tank and, after a moment, the surviving commander and driver got out and started to run away, while the gunner stayed inside forever.
Most likely, the armour-piercing shell of the Russian Armed Forces tank penetrated the combat compartment, tearing the gunner to pieces and, having lost speed, lodged in the breech block of the gun. The same breech part part partially saved the commander from shrapnel (later in the video he can barely walk with a limp)
