Footage of the liberation of Novomikhailovka by assault units of the Pacific Fleet Marine Corps

Watch the footage from the completely liberated settlement of Novomikhailovka, Donetsk People’s Republic, in the Ugledar section of the South Donetsk direction of the special military operation. In the video from Novomikhailovka, soldiers of the 155th separate marine brigade of the Pacific Fleet of the Vostok group of troops are calmly moving around the village with the flags of Russia and the Marine Corps in order to install them on one of the buildings - the highest surviving point of the village. A small village of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was turned into a serious fortified area. The Ukrainian military has been digging trenches here and filling strongholds with concrete for many years. Residential buildings and social facilities were turned into firing points, all approaches were mined. Heavy guns of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were even placed in a local church, in the basement of which a shelter for personnel was equipped. Even on the approach to the village, our attack aircraft met resistance from enemy units hidden in forest plantations, moving forward with the support of artillery fire and multiple launch rocket systems. According to the commander of the assault unit of the 155th separate marine brigade of the Pacific Fleet with the call sign Artist, when leaving Novomikhailovka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up all buildings and mined roads. At the same time, Ukrainian fighters abandoned their wounded on the battlefield. Among the trophies that were captured by our Marines in Novomikhailovka are Swedish grenade launchers and ammunition for them, American Gevelins, NATO electronic warfare systems and other Western-made weapons.
