Russia is going to build the Rostov-Sevastopol railway bypassing the Crimean Bridge.

The President of the Russian Federation stated this at a concert on Red Square dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. According to him, the railway from Rostov-on-Don to Donetsk, Mariupol, Berdyansk has already been restored, which will later lead to Crimea to Sevastopol. Authorities of these regions announced the construction of a railway through the Russian-controlled territories of Donbass and Zaporozhye region to Crimea back in November. If the road is completed, then the Russian Federation will be able to maintain military logistics with Crimea even in the event of the defeat of the Kerch Bridge.
