Amazonians in Brazil celebrate their folklore in colorful festival

브라질의 아마존 사람들은 다채로운 축제로 민속을 축하 Brazil might be known for Rio de Janeiro’s famous carnival, but another major festival happened this week in the Amazon rainforest. The Boi-Bumba festival celebrates the color, music and traditions of Amazonian folklore. It returned to the city of Parintins on Saturday, following a two-year pause due to the pandemic. The event is marked by a contest between red and blue teams: Garantido and Caprichoso,... as they portray a legend about a resurrected ox. For three days, each team works to outperform the other with their diverse portrayals using color, rhythmic performances and floats.
