The Trinity & Monotheism Part 2 - Modern Scholarship

#TRINITY #MONTHEISM #CHRISTIANITY This presentation titled “The Monarchy of the Father“ by Dr. Beau Branson, a prominent Orthodox Christian philosopher, aims to address unitarianism and critiques of the Trinity using the long neglected but Traditional doctrine of the monarchy of the Father. The different takes of different modern Orthodox authors are examined. This will be a multipart series (1 upload per week) which will hopefully help Christians in framing the Trinity for apologetics against unitarian faiths, Islam, Judaism etc... Dr. Branson is currently Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Brescia University in Kentucky. His Ph.D (2014) was completed at the University of Notre Dame, directed by Richard Cross, where he specialized in Philosophical Theology, Metaphysics, and Ancient and Hellenistic Philosophy. His research focuses on the philosophy of the early Church Fathers. His personal website can be found here: 0:00 Introduction 0:48 Metropolitan Zizioulas 4:14 Fr. John Behr 11:33 Fr.
