Is this the Best flugelhorn ever Made? I think so! Check out the Schnaffhorn from Martin Böhme!

[links in description] What a beautiful flugelhorn! We’ve had a lot of requests for a demo video of the Schnaffhorn since becoming a dealer for Klangwerkstatt Martin Böhme. Since we have one passing through the shop I decided to make a quick lo-fi video so you can check it out. The Schnaffhorn has a nice compact wrap thanks to the beautiful bend in the bell. It’s lightweight, well balanced, and feels great in the hands. It has a light, intimate, traditional flugelhorn sound. Intonation is excellent, especially around the top of the staff in the “bread and butter“ register. It has a traditional 6-inch bell (too large of a diameter will start to affect intonation). It’s built with a MAW valve block, giving it smoothness and cleanliness in chromatic passages and opening up the horn in the upper register.
