In this video I am walking through the streets of Granada city in Spain, Andalucia, on an early evening in summer 2021. You will see the breathtaking Calle Caldereria Nueva street in Albaicin district, with its many tea houses and souvenir shops; shopping and dining streets and the famous cathedral. This walk ends at the city hall, Ayuntamiento de Granada. The city is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of four rivers, the Darro, the Genil, the Monachil and the Beiro. Granada sits at an average elevation of 738 m above sea level, yet is only one hour by car from the Mediterranean coast, the Costa Tropical. The Alhambra, an ancient Nasrid citadel and palace, is the highlight of the city. It is the most renowned building and most visited palace of the Islamic historical legacy. With its many cultural attractions and architectural elements Granada is a very popular destination among the tourist cities of Spain.
