This is a video I shot of PANTERA live at Guitar Alley in Metairie, Louisiana aka “Fat City“ from December 28, 1990. THE SLUGS opened the show. The audio is a little dodgy because this was one of the tapes that was soaked by Katrina at my old place in Chalmette, LA after the levees broke. (only 40 tapes survived out of 200-300 that I had of local gigs from over the years, so we lost alot of Nola Scene gold that day in 2005...) This was PANTERA’s first show in the New Orleans area after the release of CFH. (They had played the Max in May of 1990, but the album wasn’t out yet). They just finished the SUICIDAL / EXODUS tour and were on fire this night.
