Mortal Kombat Reconciliation Part 4 | The Abyss

Mortal Kombat Reconciliation Sprite Animation Part 4 | The Abyss! Finally this part is ready! I left for two weeks after Part 3 was uploaded, then when I get back, my PC hard drive died and I had to buy another one. After I restored my files from back up, and installed all my software again, I only had one week left to finish the video. I decided it delay the video from August 1st to September 1st due to the lack of time. I’d rather take my time making a good video rather than rushing something sloppy together. “Arc Cinemas” Sent me a huge variety of rare Mortal Kombat resources. Thousands of custom sprites and effects. A huge thank you for providing all this great stuff. I’ll be using a lot of it in the future. This episode is mostly filler to build up Part 6. Liu Kang and Kung Lao fall deeper into the depths of the Neatherrealm until they are completely lost. Basically I wanted to make it seem like there is no way for them to get out. Part 5 will show side stories with the Lin Kuei and Raiden’s recruits. Both Part 4 and Part 5 are a build up to the epic part 6. The 6th part of the series will be an all out battle. I never really had a good place for Goro in this story. Goro is still dead, but Shang Tsung gives him a chance to get revenge on Liu Kang, the one who stripped him of the Mortal Kombat Championship in MK1. Since the story is still in the Neatherrealm, this was the perfect time to bring Goro in. Goro’s sprites were very bad, and extremely hard to work with. I’m glad Goro’s part is over because his sprites were just painful. The Mortal Kombat 2 flash back scene was an idea I had for a while. The original plan was to have two flash back scenes from Shang Tsung fights, one from MK1, and and another from MK2. The MK1 scene was cancelled while I was finishing the script for this video. I’ve been toying with some new technology, and I’ve come up with some new stuff. I can now animate an object and have the object’s animation run inside itself. In other words, I can now take an animation, and animate THAT animation as if it were just one object. This allows me to create animated backgrounds and much much more. I’ve used this new idea in this video. You can see fSonya moving around while chained up in the background. I also used this technique for Kung Lao’s tornado. I can also animate fighter’s stances with this new technique. I’ve already been working on some nice maps for Part 5. The Lin Kuei Temple is turning out very nice. Hopefully my PC doesn’t blow up, and I’ll be able to bring you Part 5 by October 1st. please Subscribe, rate, share, and comment! It really helps me grow my channel.
