Broken Hammer Restoration - Making a MASSIVE Copper Handle

This old blacksmith hammer head was forged a long time ago. But its handle is rotten, deep rust and markings of previous work. It looks like it the hammer head spent some time underground. In this video I restored this blacksmith hammer head and made a copper/wood handle. It was a great opportunity to experiment with it. Even though the handle is half the weight of the hammer head, it has a nice balanced feel to it and a real pleasant smooth grip.
