Rusty to running: 20 year old BREMBO calipers rebuild timelapse Restoring 20 year old BREMBO calipers. The BREMBO calipers are part of Mitsubishi’s largest brake system, which has proven its worth in various generations of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. We used it in the Mitsubishi Galant and, of course, my own favorite Mitsubishi Eclipse. This particular unit had been in storage for a number of years. We restored it, and now it’s ready for use. It’ll remain functional for years to come, with everybody grooving to the power it generates. I’ve made a timelapse video depicting the calipers assembly process.
