Military Choir Honors Fallen Soldier with Stunning Cover of “My Girl” | AGT 2023

The 82nd Airborne Division All American Chorus, a choir group that serves in the US military, has wowed the judges and the audience with their rendition of “My Girl” by The Temptations on America’s Got Talent 2023. The group, based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, consists of 16 soldiers who represent the 19,000 men and women who support and serve the Airborne Division. They are led by Staff Sergeant Marcus Gilbert, who said they auditioned for America’s Got Talent to honor their fallen comrade, Specialist Moises Gonzalez, who died in a training accident earlier this year. “We want to dedicate this performance to him and his family. He was a great soldier and a great singer. He loved music and he loved this song,” Gilbert said before they took the stage.
