5 Stages of Grief: Nyra

TW: Blood and animal injury Nyra, once the ruler of the most powerful force of owls in the kingdoms, no scarred, mate-less, and defeated retreats with her egg to parts unknown. But she will be back. Because revenge is her love language. Here we gooooooO! The first of four PMVs outlining Nyra and Coryn’s stories. This one features Nyra shortly after the fight that both kills her mate Kludd and gives her the signature scar running across her face. In cannon, it’s a smaller slash just above her eye, but I always thought it would look cool going through her eye and acting as a portal for dark magic to enter (as removing an eye to cause a dark magic transformation is a plot point in later books!). My design takes inspiration from both the book and movie depictions of the character. I love this evil lady because evil boss ladies are one of my favorite villain tropes.
