A Major Earthquake & Volcanic Eruption Struck in Alaska; Shishaldin Erupts

A major magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck a section of Alaska. And, an hour later, a powerful eruption occurred from the Shishaldin volcano. Are these two events related?
