It is important as a makeup artist to dissect the storyline and tie the makeup together in each scene. This is one of my favorite parts in the creative process with the most brilliant team. This scene was important to connect Gaga getting shocked back into reality from the fantasy. The scarification #Chromatica signs represent all of Gaga’s traumas she has experienced. Scars on her mind. The blood surrounding them are cuts of her retracing those scars like retracing her steps, over and over again. There is only a wash of blue under the brows. Its the fantasy washing away. I used @ hauslabs #GlamAttack in “Blue Jean Dream” and a gloss on the lids. Red lip is #Supermodel Rip Lip Liner and 1950 Le Monster Matte.
