Dodge (ˈdɔʤ) is a brand of cars manufactured by the American company Chrysler. Under the Dodge brand, cars, pickups, SUVs and commercial vehicles are produced. The company was founded in 1900 by the Dodge brothers for the production of automotive components. In 1914, the production of their own cars began. Dodge was sold to Chrysler in 1928, from 1997 to 2008 it was part of the DaimlerChrysler alliance, and now it is part of Fiat-Chrysler LLC.
