We first caught the train at Uppermill in Greater Manchester, Lancashire climbing the incline towards Standedge Tunnel - a three and a half mile long tunnel through the Pennine hills. A little later, we see the Brit climbing from Marsden, on the other side of the hills, in West Yorkshire. I had hoped for a third view to the south of York but bad traffi
