I have another channel where I usually upload solo stuff? Never heard of it~ I know, I know I really need to make some more solo music for my own channel at some point, but currently Forest Elves stuff and life has me busy like nothing else. So here we go. I bring you an acoustic arrangement of one of our oldest songs “Calling Dreams“. It’s one of my favourite FE songs. I say solo, but Jordi actually mastered it and he made it BEAUTIFUL! Thank you, Jordi, you’re a treasure. He really put a lot of mastering magic into this. This one came together quite spontaneously a few weeks ago. I was chilling and playing guitar and hummed the melody of Calling Dreams while playing these chords and one thing led to the other, I got a few of my recorders out, annoyed the hell out of my partner, my neighbors and anyone who lives on our street with my semi skilled recorder playing (sorry, lol, it’s good practice tho!) and threw everything together in a few days. I desperately tried to include the Garklein recorder I obtained a few months ago but it just wouldn’t sound good... Everything you hear on this arrangement except for the zither is a real instrument. I’d love to say I also played the zither here, but alas, I don’t have this instrument... Maybe one day. Maybe... a girl can dream, hahaha. So you could say this version is actually more semi acoustic. It’s 80% acoustic... now that wouldn’t look good in the title.
