The ILM Star Wars Model !

One of the more eye-catching dioramas at this year’s Wonderfest was this miniature representation of the famed ILM model shop as it looked during the making of Star Wars! Modelmaker Brad Growden meticulously recreated a scene showing the filming of the Millennium Falcon model (here a tiny Bandai kit), complete with Dykstraflex motion controlled camera and kitbashed X-Wings on the workbench. A lovely tribute to miniatures filmmaking in scale model form!
