Sketchbook Portrait #24

Sketchbook Oil Painting. Painted on water color paper that I’ve applied 2 coats of gesso to. The goal is to paint quickly and not get overly caught up in the details. With a minimal paint drawing to start , I“ll be adjusting the drawing shapes as i go. This will teach me to constantly do comparison measurements with my eyes as i go along. I will be focusing on values also as i work through the painting.
