Painting a Rose In Oil

Welcome back, friends. :D I’ve done a video of painting a rose in watercolor before but not in oil. I figured this would be a good time to do so since some of my students are currently working on floral still life paintings (you know who you are :) ). The actual painting time for this piece was around 6 hours. I like showing real time footage, but that was a lot to try to condense. Hopefully you still get a sense of the process.
