A Top Ten Bucket List Hike in Washington | Lake Ozette Beach Loop | Olympic National Park

Third week of May 2024. What an enjoyable hike, amazing scenery and giant skunk cabbage. More boardwalk on this trail than anywhere else in Washinton! The forest was awesome, the beach was awesome, the hike was unforgettable. We hiked 10 miles with 600 feet of elevation gain, I could have spent days out here hiking more on the beach in either direction, what a treat to be able to do this trail. The hike starts out with 3 miles of trail, then 3-4 miles of beach, then finally 3 more miles of trail back to the car. I would do this hike in a counterclockwise direction and always look out for the high tides, a low tide of no greater than 2 feet is recommended.
