London Underground Metropolitan Line A (A60 A62) Stock Finchley Road to Uxbridge 2nd March 2012

A60 Metropolitan line stock now in it’s last few months of service built by Cravens between 1960 and 63. Starting at Finchley road where the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines emerge from tunnels. I made my way along to Uxbridge (20:53) stopping off at Rayners Lane (8:25) and Eastcote (13:40) all lovely examples of 1930s design by Charles Holden. I hope I capture the sights and sounds of these very long serving trains. Also seen the A60’s new replacements the Derby built S Stock, Jubilee and Piccadilly line. F
