PS: Rare Turkish Anatolian Rock, Funk & Jazz with Yemeksepeti Banabi

This is the second episode of the new mini series called Portable Sessions. During the summertime visit to my home city Istanbul, I decided to take a pair of portable turntables with me, and record a vinyl set episode with some amazing views in different parts of the country. My second stop is Ovacik, in Cesme/Izmir. Because I live in London, whenever I get a chance to visit home in Turkey, I try to buy as much Turkish records (mostly 45’s) as I can. And this time was no exception. In this portable session, I am playing some of to hardest to find records from Feride, Mogollar, Deniz Erkanat, Dario Moreno, Ferdi Ozbegen and more.
