Tightrope Record Set in Swedish Mountains

A team of German tightrope walkers crossed a line 600 meters above the Swedish valley of Lapporten, Saturday, July 3, setting a record. Highlining is a team sport, and the record is shared among those taking part in the whole process, including those rigging the rope. Quirin Herterich was the first one to make it across the line without falling, and he was followed by three other walkers, Lukas Irmler, Ruben Langer and Friedi Kuehne. It took the team two days of hard work to rig the line. (REUTERS)
