This show is the first of three recordings we have of “White Hammer” live, which is awesome to hear. It also marks the return of the “Octopus / Theme One / Octopus” medley we have not seen since Mannheim 1971, and “Aquarian” we haven’t heard since Bern 1971. “Man-Erg” makes a return here, last being recorded in Milan back in February. Like Milan, it’s played back to back with “Lemmings”. Starting from “Killer” until the end of the show, the quality of the recording dips slightly. As for the performances themselves, they’re pretty decent. “White Hammer” translates well into a live setting. Hammill sounds like he’s straining his voice during this show, while Jackson is on point tonight. “Aquarian” is quite different here than it was the previous year at Bern, it’s interesting to hear the song return in a new manner. Overall a decent gig of decent quality.
