German Solar Panels

German solar panels capture the sun’s energy by means of photovoltaic (PV) cells and convert this into electricity that can be used to run home appliances as well as lighting. Solar cells are made with layers of semi-conducting material; silicon most of the time. When the panel is hit by sunlight, it produces an electric field across the layers.
