Chandrayaan-3 - Vikram lander hops on the Moon

ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 lander, named Vikram, performed a hop experiment on 3 September 2023. The lander fired the engines, elevated itself by about 40 cm as expected and landed safely at a distance of 30 – 40 cm away, in the South Pole region of the Moon, the Shiv Shakti Point ( S, ).
