Post War American teenagers had cars, disposable income and raging hormones. The drive in movies were the perfect place for all three. Since most kids went there to neck it didn’t matter if the movies were great and whole genre of teen-exploitation, B-movies was born. Motorcycle crazed, outlaws with a heart of gold drew in the crowds and kept companies like American International Pictures in business for years.
