In 2018, Yo Yo Ma started a musical tour around the world. He planned to tour in 36 cities in six continents around the world to play Bach’s Six Cello Suites. The ancient Greek Theater, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, was his first stop. Unfortunately, the Pandemic stopped Yo Yo Ma’s world music tour. The performance in the Odeon of Herodes Atticus Greek was one of the most beautiful versions of Yo Yo Ma’s performance of Bach’s Six Suites.
