This project was conceived 4 weeks ago yesterday. I finally feel like my Christmas project is ready to share. It’s a 4.5’ Christmas tree strung with 350 addressable LEDs run from an Arduino Uno (programmable microcontroller) with a Danger Shield (board that attaches to the Arduino with several controls). I wrote/borrowed/modified 11 different animations so far. I programmed the Danger Shield to allow for control of the mode as well as animation selection, speed and brightness.
