Sri Chinmoy New York 1979

In 1979 and 1980 I spent time at the indian guru Sri Chinmoy’s center in New York. I wrote this piece of music many years later as a tribute to those years. For me it was an inspiring period in my life, with a lot of musical influences. Mainly by guitarists as Mahavishnu John McLaughlin, Devadip Carlos Santana and Corrado Rusici (Nova). But also drummer/producer Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston). The photo of me on the bus on the road to Zürich, Switzerland 1979 was shot by Hasse Bruniusson, drummer and founder of the Swedish prog-group Samla Mammas Manna.
