This is the result of a small concept project I’ve been working on: what if Super Mario 64 was ported to the Game Boy Advance? The short answer is: it would suck. This is a demo that I wrote in C running on a GBA emulator, based on some existing 3D engines made for the GBA like the one behind Asterix and Obelix: XXL. It’s highly unlikely that this will ever become anything more because it’s awful to play and it’s unlikely a good port could ever be created even if I was a ridiculously talented programmer.
