Game Boy Hour of Power: Great GB Music - NintendoComplete

A full hour of classic tunes from Nintendo Game Boy games. This is not a “Best of“ nor a “Top 10“ list, but rather a sampling of memorable, classic game themes. Hope you all enjoy it! It really is amazing how hard of a beat the old gray brick could drop, especially when the sound was done by somebody that really knew their way around the hardware! The GB wave channel also gives it a pretty distinct sound from the NES - it often makes the music sound like a cross of the NES with the TG16 or the Virtual Boy when it’s used for melody lines. The Metal Masters song here would totally sound at home on the TeleroBoxer soundtrack, for whatever my opinion might be worth :) Please note that I limited selections to games that received official English-language releases only.
