Finland to temporarily close border with Russia

핀란드, 난민 이주 문제로 러시아와 국경 일시 폐쇠 Finland is closing all its road borders with Russia in an attempt to halt a surge of asylum seekers. The Finnish government announced on Tuesday it would close its last road crossing, located in the Arctic Circle, on Thursday night for two weeks. It had already recently closed its other seven road crossings with Russia. One rail crossing for freight only will remain open. Helsinki has accused Moscow of deliberately aiding migrants from Morocco, Pakistan and Syria crossing into Finland in retaliation for Finland’s closer cooperation with the U.S. and joining of NATO.
