Street Fighter: The Movie Longplay (Arcade) [4K]

It uses digitised sprites made popular by Mortal Kombat, and the overall gameplay feels oddly reminiscent of Midway’s fighting game, yet retains the character roster and special moves of Capcom’s seminal fighting series. Personally, I still prefer the original sprite-based games. Although this isn’t a bad game, the number of frames of animation in most of the character’s moves mean that there’s a delay between executing the move, then being able to move again. I also found that trying to pull off some of the super moves, Guile’s in particular, are incredibly hard to do. Ultimately, this isn’t terrible.
