15 years ago ( May 2, 1995 ). 3DO was planning to make a huge comeback with an upgrade / standalone console to their existing Panasonic 3DO REAL Player. Panasonic held a 3DO/M2 Press event the day before the first annual E3 Expo at Downtown L.A.’s famous Westin Bonaventure Hotel. Former Chairman Trip Hawkins was the host that evening of the event.
