Guilty Gear Strive- Love The Subhuman Self Cover by Lacey Johnson

Hey Everybody! Today’s Cover is the BEE’S KNEES! That’s right, I’m (finally) delivering my cover of “Love The Subhuman Self“ Aka Millia Rage’s Theme from Guilty Gear: Strive. This song was a DOOZY let me tell you. First, I’d never played anything in drop B tuning before so that was fun to learn. Second, I’ve never (successfully) attempted screamo/hardcore vocals in a song before. And Finally, these vocals are no joke. The harmonies are so complex at times and I really wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to pull this cover off. I’m so happy with the final result, however, and I hope you all are too!
