Kim Jong un drives Putin during state visit to North Korea

President Putin is in Vietnam to rally support for a “new multipolar world” united against the US-led international order, after a rare visit to North Korea. The Russian president had signed a new agreement with Kim Jong-un, committing Russia and North Korea to helping each other if attacked. In Hanoi on Thursday, President Lam of Vietnam congratulated Putin on securing a fifth term and “domestic political stability”. “Once again, congratulations to our comrade for receiving overwhelming support during the recent presidential election, underlining the confidence of the Russian people,” Lam said.
