Using four super sized blocks to make a smaller square quilt - HOWEVER - this is for demonstration and this pattern can be made larger in either or both directions by adding more blocks. I show an easy way to do a “PARTIAL SEAM” (not to be confused with a Y Seam) but have no fear an alternative is also shown if you don’t want to use that method. Partial seams are a great way to get a new technique ticked off the beginner’s I can do this now list - just try a test and you will see it really is easy to do. This pattern uses primarily a medium potato chip size (2.5“ x 4.5“) in high contrast colors, but you can adapt to your own tastes and make it scrappy.
