What Could Go Wrong?

After being shut out of accommodation in Dokan, Iraqi Kurdistan, I head out to the open road trying to hitchhike my way to Sulaymaniyah, Iraq Kurdistan. The weather is almost unbearably hot, though I find a little spot in the shade to hitchhike from. It turns out another woman is trying to hitchhike her way in Iraqi Kurdistan as well. I give her the prime spot and it turns out that I end up getting in the same car as her. Unfortunately, my language skills in this part of the world are pretty terrible, and I am mistakenly given the impression that this ride will take me all the way to Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan. Turns out my assumption was incorrect and I am let off at a junction on the way to Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan. Stuck on the highway, I find a place to hitchhike. It isn’t an ideal place for hitchhiking, because the cars are approaching you at a high speed. Eventually, I get let in a truck, and I am on my way to Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan.
