John Goodman as Creighton Bernette on HBO’s Treme

John Goodman - spokesperson for - is Creighton Bernette in the new drama by HBO called Treme. Mr. Goodman, whose character is based on the late blogger Ashley Morris, is an excitable fierce intelligent New Orleanian who is not afraid to say out loud that the federal Army Corps of Engineers is responsible for the flooding disaster of metro New Orleans. The series debuted on April 11, 2010 and just two days later got the green light from HBO for a second season.
