Lesson 3 of my series of Old English Lessons
Notes :
Firstly, it is important to know that there are three words (in the nominative singular case) for “the“ in Old English.
These are are : se (masculine), séo (feminine) and þæt (neuter)
Another important feature is that there is no word for “a“ or “an“ in Old English. Therefore “se ƿer“ means “the man“ and “ƿer“ means “man“ or “a man“
