Howard makes a letterpress print that is currently up for bidding for our summer auction.

Our Summer Auction is open! With nearly 70 items up for bid, we’re sure you will find an item or two that you will like to take home. Money raised will help fund our education programs by building our scholarship fund. In this video, Howard letterpress prints a large electrotype (copy of a woodcut) from the Lewis Winter Collection. This cut depicts the Winter family farm in Capay Valley in Yolo County. Lewis Winter created this cut at his wood and photo engraving office at 627 J Street in Sacramento in the 1890s. This print will be a part of a bundle of other prints from our print shop. You can browse, register, and start bidding on your favorite items.
